DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a synthetic nonapeptide originally isolated from cerebral venous blood. With the molecular formula C₃₅H₄₈N₁₀O₁₅ and a molecular weight of 848.9 g/mol (CAS: 62568-57-4), DSIP consists of nine amino acids: Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu.
